Periodontics

The early symptom of periodontal disease is bad breath(halitosis) or gingivitis, when the gums bleed while being brushed and/or flossed. Periodontal disease is when bacteria present in the dental plaque has reached the gums, alveolar bone, and the periodontal ligament causing an infection. If left untreated the infection can cause permanent damage to teeth, jaw, and gums. Periodontal disease is diagnosed by using a periodontic probing instrument, where it measures the range of the gum pockets. At our clinics, our staff are trained to identify the early stages. In addition, CARE INTERNATIONAL DENTAL CARE is equipped with in built OPG set up, that radiographically shows full mouth bone level and related inflammation to treat accordingly. Daily oral care, and regular visits to your dentist can help prevent this disease.
